About the App
TubeLog is an iOS app for vacuum tube audio enthusiasts. Catalog every piece of gear you own, track every tube in your collection, and log which tube you rolled into which amp — with usage hours, replacement reminders, and shareable rig cards.
All data you save stays on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.
Features
- Gear Catalog — Track category (preamp, integrated amp, power amp, DAC, CD player, turntable, phono stage, speaker, headphone amp, and more), brand, model, purchase price, year, photo, and status (active, stored, or sold off). Free up to 10 pieces.
- Tube Catalog — Track type (12AX7, 12AU7, 6SN7, EL34, KT88, 300B, or a custom type), brand, country of origin, label/etch code, purchase price, year, and condition. Free up to 20 tubes.
- Rolling Log — Record which tubes (with per-slot labels) went into which amp, the track or source you listened to, volume setting, star rating, and notes on how it compared to the last roll.
- Session Timer — Start a timer while you listen; the duration is filled in automatically when you save the log.
- Usage Tracking & Replacement Reminders — Every tube’s cumulative usage hours are tracked automatically. Set a reminder threshold and get a local notification when it’s time to check a tube.
- Smart Suggestions — Brand, country, and condition fields suggest values you’ve entered before, plus common presets.
- Share Cards — Generate a current rig card, a tube-rolling comparison card (select 2 or more logs; the card shows up to 4), or a best-rated-tubes ranking card (shown once a gear item has 3 or more rated logs). Free shows a “Logged with TubeLog” watermark; Pro removes it.
- Collection Stats — Totals, money invested, category/status breakdowns, most-used tubes, and rolling log activity over the last 6 months.
- Backup & Export — Export your entire collection as a ZIP backup (CSV included inside the archive) and import it on a new device. Free for everyone. Importing beyond the free gear/tube limits skips extras until you upgrade to Pro.

FAQ
Q. What is a “rolling log”?
“Tube rolling” is the hobby of swapping different tubes in and out of the same amp to compare how they sound. A rolling log records which tube (or tubes) you put in which amp on a given listening session, along with your notes and rating — so you can look back and remember which combination you liked best.
Q. How do replacement reminders work?
Each tube’s usage hours add up automatically every time you log a rolling session that uses it. If you set a reminder threshold on a tube (in hours), TubeLog sends a local notification once that tube crosses it — no account or internet connection needed.
Q. What are the free plan limits?
The free plan supports up to 10 pieces of gear and 20 tubes. Rolling logs, the session timer, replacement reminders, share cards (with a watermark), collection stats, and ZIP backup export/import have no limit and are free for everyone.
Q. Where is my data stored?
Everything is saved locally on your iPhone. No account is required, and nothing is uploaded to the cloud or any external server.
Q. Can I purchase Pro anytime?
Yes. Open Settings in the app to purchase at any time. It’s a one-time purchase — no recurring fees.
Q. How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?
Tap Restore purchases in Settings. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.
Q. Can I back up my data or move it to a new phone?
Go to Settings → Export ZIP backup to export your entire collection — gear, tubes, rolling logs, and photos — as a ZIP file. Use Import ZIP backup on a new device to restore everything. This is available on the free plan. If the free gear/tube limits would be exceeded on import, extras are skipped until you upgrade to Pro.
Q. Can I sync across multiple iPhones at the same time?
Not automatically. TubeLog stores data locally on each device only; use ZIP export/import to move a collection from one device to another.

Q. 「ローリングログ」とは何ですか？
「チューブローリング」とは、同じアンプにさまざまな真空管を差し替えて聴き比べる趣味のことです。ローリングログは、どの試聴セッションでどのアンプにどの管（複数可）を挿したかを、印象メモや評価とともに記録する機能です。後から見返して「あの組み合わせが一番良かった」を思い出せます。
Q. 交換リマインダーはどう動きますか？
各管の使用時間は、その管を使ったローリングログを記録するたびに自動で加算されます。管ごとに交換の目安時間（時間単位）を設定しておくと、その時間を超えた時点でローカル通知でお知らせします。アカウント登録やインターネット接続は不要です。
Q. 無料版の上限はどこまでですか？
無料版では機材10件・真空管20本まで登録できます。ローリングログ・セッションタイマー・交換リマインダー・シェアカード（透かしあり）・コレクション統計・ZIPバックアップの書き出し／読み込みには件数制限がなく、誰でも無料でご利用いただけます。
Q. データはどこに保存されますか？
すべてお使いのiPhone内に保存されます。アカウント登録は不要で、クラウドや外部サーバーへのアップロードは一切行いません。
Q. Proはいつでも購入できますか？
はい。アプリ内の「設定」画面からいつでもご購入いただけます。買い切りのため、追加費用は発生しません。
Q. 以前購入したProを復元するには？
「設定」画面内の「購入を復元」から復元できます。購入時と同じApple IDでサインインした状態でお試しください。
Q. データのバックアップや機種変更はできますか？
「設定→ZIP バックアップを書き出し」から、機材・真空管・ローリングログ・写真をまとめてZIPファイルとして書き出せます。新しい端末で「ZIP バックアップを読み込み」から同じファイルを読み込めば、すべて復元されます。無料でご利用いただけます。無料枠を超える件数をインポートした場合、超過分はProにアップグレードするまでスキップされます。
Q. 複数のiPhoneで同時に同期できますか？
自動同期には対応していません。データは各端末内のみに保存されるため、機種間の移行にはZIPエクスポート／インポートをご利用ください。
