About the App

RindLog is an iOS app for home cheesemakers. Log the make-day details, track aging with a temperature and humidity chart, get reminded when it’s time to flip or wash the rind, and record your tasting results when the cheese is ready.

All data you save stays on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.

Features

Batch Tracking — Log a batch for each cheese you make, with fields that adapt to the cheese type: fresh, semi-hard, hard, washed rind, blue, or other. Free up to 3 batches.
Make Log — Record culture, rennet amount, coagulation temperature and time (with a built-in coagulation timer), cutting notes, press weight and time, and a memo.
Aging Log — Log temperature, humidity, a photo, and a memo as often as you like, and view the trend on a chart with 1-week / 1-month / 3-month / all-time views.
Care Task Reminders — Set a flip, wash, wax, or other recurring task with an interval in days. RindLog sends a local notification when it’s due, and you can mark it done with one tap.
Tasting Result — Rate saltiness, acidity, flavor, and texture, plus an overall score, with notes and appearance/cross-section photos. Saving it marks the batch as complete.
Recipes — Save recipes and link batches to them, so you can compare how the same recipe turned out across attempts.
Photo Gallery — Every photo from every batch, in one place.
Stats — Total batches, a monthly trend chart, a cheese-type breakdown, and your average tasting scores.
Share Cards — Share a new-batch card, an aging-progress card, or a completed card as an image (watermarked on free; watermark-free on Pro).
Data Export & Import — Back up all your batches, recipes, logs, and photos as a ZIP file, and restore them on any device.
Metric or Imperial Units — Switch between °C/°F and L/gal at any time. Press weight is always recorded in kg.

FAQ

Q. What happens once I’ve logged 3 batches on the free plan?

You can keep using every other feature — you just can’t start a new batch until you upgrade to Pro or delete an existing batch. Deleting a batch frees up a slot.

Q. How do care task reminders work?

When you add a care task (like “flip every 3 days”), RindLog schedules a local notification for its next due date. Marking it done reschedules the next reminder automatically, and a completed batch’s reminders stop on their own.

Q. Where is my data stored?

Everything is saved locally on your iPhone. No uploads to the cloud or external servers, and no account is required.

Q. Can I purchase Pro anytime?

Yes. Open Settings in the app to purchase at any time. It’s a one-time purchase — no recurring fees.

Q. How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?

Tap Restore Purchase on the Pro screen in Settings. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with.

Q. Can I back up or move my data to a new phone?

Yes. Go to Settings → Data → Export ZIP to save everything as a ZIP file, then use Restore from ZIP on the new device to restore it. This is free and available to everyone.

Q. Can I sync across multiple iPhones or iPads?

Not automatically — RindLog doesn’t use an account or cloud sync. You can move data between devices manually with the Export ZIP / Restore from ZIP feature above.

Q. Does RindLog support units other than metric?

Yes. Switch between metric (°C / L) and imperial (°F / gal) in Settings → Unit at any time. Press weight is always shown and entered in kg.

RindLogは、自家製チーズを仕込む人のためのiOSアプリです。仕込みの詳細を記録し、温度と湿度のグラフで熟成の経過を追い、フリップやウォッシュのタイミングを通知で知らせ、チーズが仕上がったら試食結果を記録できます。

保存したデータはすべてあなたのデバイス内に保管されます。外部サーバーへの送信は一切行いません。

主な機能

バッチ管理 — 仕込んだチーズごとにバッチを記録。フレッシュ・セミハード・ハード・ウォッシュ・ブルー・その他のチーズ種別に応じて入力項目が変わります。無料3件まで。
仕込み記録 — カルチャー・レンネット量・凝固温度と時間（凝固タイマー内蔵）・カード切りメモ・プレス重量と時間・メモを記録。
熟成ログ — 温度・湿度・写真・メモを好きな頻度で記録し、1週間／1か月／3か月／すべての期間でグラフの推移を確認できます。
ケア作業リマインダー — フリップ・ウォッシュ・ワックスがけなどの頻度（日数）を設定すると、次回のタイミングで通知が届きます。ワンタップで実施記録も可能です。
試食結果 — 塩味・酸味・風味・食感・総合評価を記録し、コメントと外観・断面写真を残せます。保存するとバッチが完了扱いになります。
レシピ — レシピを保存してバッチに紐づけ、同じレシピでの過去の仕上がりを見比べられます。
フォトギャラリー — すべてのバッチの写真を一箇所にまとめて表示。
統計 — 総バッチ数・月別の推移グラフ・チーズ種別の内訳・平均評価を確認できます。
シェアカード — 仕込み開始・熟成経過・完成の3種類を画像カードとしてシェア（無料版はウォーターマーク表示、Pro版はなし）。
データのエクスポート・インポート — バッチ・レシピ・ログ・写真をすべてZIPファイルとして書き出し、別の端末で復元できます。
メートル法／ヤード・ポンド法 — ℃/℉、L/galをいつでも切り替え可能です。プレス重量は常にkgで記録します。

よくある質問

Q. 無料版で3件バッチを登録したらどうなりますか？

他の機能はすべてそのままお使いいただけます。新しくバッチを追加するにはProへのアップグレードが必要ですが、既存のバッチを削除すれば枠が空きます。

Q. ケア作業のリマインダーはどう動きますか？

「3日ごとにフリップ」のようにケア作業を追加すると、次回予定日に合わせてローカル通知が届きます。実施を記録すると次回の通知が自動で再設定され、バッチが完了すると通知は自動で止まります。

Q. データはどこに保存されますか？

すべてあなたのiPhone内（端末ローカル）に保存されます。クラウドや外部サーバーへのアップロードはなく、アカウント登録も不要です。

Q. Proはいつでも購入できますか？

はい。アプリ内の「設定」画面からいつでもご購入いただけます。買い切りのため、一度購入すれば追加費用はかかりません。

Q. 以前購入したProを復元するには？

「設定」内のPro画面から「購入を復元」をタップしてください。購入時と同じApple IDでサインインしていることをご確認ください。

Q. データのバックアップや機種変更時の引き継ぎはできますか？

できます。「設定→データ→ZIP書き出し」からすべてをZIPファイルとして書き出し、新しい端末で「ZIPから復元」を使えば復元できます。この機能は無料でご利用いただけます。

Q. 複数のiPhoneやiPadで同期できますか？

自動同期には対応していません。RindLogはアカウントやクラウド同期を使わない設計です。上記のZIP書き出し・復元機能で手動でのデータ移行は可能です。

Q. メートル法以外の単位にも対応していますか？

はい。「設定→単位」から、メートル法（℃ / L）とヤード・ポンド法（℉ / gal）をいつでも切り替えられます。プレス重量は常にkgで表示・入力します。
