About PyroLog
PyroLog is an iOS app for pyrography artists — from hobbyists who want to remember what worked, to Etsy sellers who need to price their time fairly. Log every burn session in detail, build a recipe book of your best settings, manage your tip and wood inventory, and calculate listing prices. All data is stored locally on your device.
Features
Burns Log
Record every burning session with the full details that matter: wood species, tip brand and type, temperature setting, technique (stippling, smooth shading, flowing lines, etc.), burn speed, and session duration with a built-in stopwatch. Add a photo of the finished piece. Two burn types are available:
- Works — Finished pieces you want to keep a permanent record of. Free up to 5; Pro unlocks unlimited.
- Test Burns — Practice sessions and material tests. Always unlimited in both Free and Pro.
Settings Share Card
Generate a shareable image card showing your work photo and all the burn settings. Choose from multiple themes (Wood, Dark, Light). Perfect for Instagram, Reddit, or Discord. Free (with watermark) — Pro removes the watermark.
Recipe Book
Save your best settings as reusable recipes — captured directly from a burn or written from scratch. Pull up a recipe next time you reach for the same wood and tip combination. Recipes are unlimited and always free.
Tip Inventory
Log every pyrography tip you own: name, manufacturer, tip type, stock count, and identification code. Know exactly what you have before you order more.
Wood Stock
Track your panels and blanks: wood species, dimensions, thickness, quantity, and unit price. Always know what’s in stock.
Etsy Price Calculator
Enter material cost, labor hours, hourly rate, packaging cost, shipping cost, and your margin multiplier — the calculator includes the Etsy fee (6.5%) and outputs a suggested listing price.

Quick-reference guide for 10 common pyrography woods plus a tip name guide. Always free.
CSV Export

FAQ
Can I restore my data after reinstalling the app?
PyroLog stores all data locally on your device. If you delete the app, your data will be lost along with it. To keep your records safe, use CSV Export to back up your data before deleting the app.
Why can’t I add more Works?
The free version allows up to 5 Works (finished pieces). If you’ve reached the limit, you can upgrade to PyroLog Pro for unlimited Works. Note that Test Burns are always unlimited — use those for practice sessions.
What’s the difference between a Work and a Test Burn?
Works are finished pieces you want to keep a permanent record of — commissions, portfolio pieces, completed projects. Test Burns are practice sessions and material tests where you’re experimenting with settings. Both support the same fields, but Works count toward the free limit while Test Burns are always unlimited.
Can I create a recipe without a burn log?
Yes. In the Recipes tab, tap the + button to write a recipe from scratch without linking it to a specific burn. You can also save any existing burn directly as a recipe from its detail screen.
Does the app sync across multiple devices?
No. PyroLog is local-only by design — no cloud sync, no account required, no data leaving your device. If you need the same data on another device, export as CSV and re-enter the data manually, or use a backup approach.
How does the Etsy price calculator work?
Enter material cost, labor hours, hourly rate, packaging cost, shipping cost, and your margin multiplier (2.5×, 3.0×, etc.). The calculator applies the Etsy fee (6.5%) and outputs a base cost and suggested listing price. It’s meant to help you price fairly — not too low, not too high.
What is the Wood Reference?
It’s a built-in guide covering 10 common pyrography woods with burning temperature ranges, surface characteristics, and use case notes, plus a tip name guide. It’s free and available without an account.
How do I remove the watermark from my share cards?
The watermark on share cards is removed when you upgrade to PyroLog Pro. Open the Settings tab and tap the Pro card at the top (or Upgrade to Pro).
Is PyroLog available on Android?
PyroLog is currently iOS only. There are no Android plans at this time.

よくある質問
アプリを再インストールしたらデータは戻りますか？
PyroLog のすべてのデータはあなたの端末にのみ保存されます。アプリを削除するとデータも消えてしまいます。大切なデータは、削除前に CSV エクスポートでバックアップしておくことをお勧めします。
Works をこれ以上登録できません。
無料版では Works（完成作品）は 5 件までご利用いただけます。PyroLog Pro にアップグレードすると無制限になります。なお、Test Burns（練習焼き）は無料版でも無制限にご利用いただけます。
Works と Test Burns の違いは何ですか？
Works は完成した焼き絵作品の記録です（コミッション作品・ポートフォリオ・プレゼントなど）。Test Burns は設定の試し焼きや素材テストに使います。両方とも同じ項目を記録できますが、Works だけが無料版の件数制限の対象です。
バーンログなしでレシピを作れますか？
はい。Recipes タブの ＋ ボタンからゼロで作成できます。既存のバーンログからは詳細画面の「レシピとして保存」ボタンで直接保存することもできます。
複数の端末でデータを同期できますか？
現在、クラウド同期機能はありません。PyroLog はプライバシー重視のローカル保存設計です。データの移行が必要な場合は CSV エクスポートをご利用ください。
Etsy 価格計算の使い方を教えてください。
材料費・労働時間・時給・梱包費・送料・目標マージン倍率（2.5× など）を入力すると、Etsy 手数料（6.5%）を加味した基本コストと推奨出品価格が表示されます。あくまで参考値ですが、価格設定の根拠を整理するのに役立ちます。
シェアカードの透かしを消すにはどうすればいいですか？
透かしの非表示は PyroLog Pro の機能です。設定タブ上部の Pro カード（または Pro にアップグレード）からご購入いただけます。
Android 版はありますか？
PyroLog は現在 iOS 専用です。Android 版の提供予定はありません。
