About the App
LotlLog is an iOS app for axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) keepers. From water quality testing and gill health checks to a day-by-day regeneration photo timeline, growth tracking, and share cards — everything an axolotl keeper logs by hand, in one place.
All data you save stays on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.

FAQ
Q. What is the color-tap water quality input?
For most water parameters (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, GH, KH), instead of typing a number, you tap the color swatch that best matches your test kit reading. The value fills in automatically and an ideal-range status appears right away. You can still switch to manual number entry from the same screen if you prefer.
Q. What is the gill health comparison?
Open any two gill checks you’ve logged and drag a slider to compare them side by side — useful for noticing gradual changes in color or fullness that are easy to miss day to day.
Q. What is the regeneration timeline?
When an axolotl loses part of a limb, tail, or gill, create a regeneration case with the injury date and cause, then add a photo every so often as it heals. The detail screen lets you scrub through those photos on a day-numbered slider, from the injury to the most recent (or fully healed) photo.
Q. Where is my data stored?
Everything is saved locally on your iPhone in an on-device database. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud or to external servers.
Q. Can I purchase Pro anytime?
Yes. Open Settings → Pro in the app to purchase at any time. It’s a one-time purchase — no recurring fees.
Q. How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?
Tap Restore Purchases in Settings. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you originally purchased with.
Q. Can I export or restore my data?
Yes, and it’s free regardless of Pro status. Go to Settings → Export data (ZIP) to export all individuals, every log type, and photos as a ZIP file. To bring data onto another device, use Settings → Restore data (ZIP). Restore adds records to your existing data (it does not overwrite). On the free plan, individuals beyond the 2-pet limit are skipped during import.
Q. Can I sync across multiple iPhones or iPads?
Not at this time. Data is stored locally on each device only. To move data manually, export a ZIP on one device and restore it on the other using the steps above.

保存したデータはすべてあなたのデバイス内に保管されます。外部サーバーへの送信は一切行いません。

Q. 水質の色見本タップ入力とはどんな機能ですか？
pH・アンモニア・亜硝酸・硝酸塩・GH・KHなど主要な項目は、数値を打ち込む代わりに、お手持ちの試薬キットの結果に近い色見本をタップするだけで記録できます。数値は自動で入力され、記録した瞬間に適正範囲かどうかも表示されます。数値で直接入力したい場合は同じ画面から切り替えも可能です。
Q. 鰓のビフォーアフター比較とはどんな機能ですか？
これまでに記録した鰓チェックから任意の2件を選び、スライダーで左右に見比べられる機能です。日々の変化では気づきにくい、色や大きさの緩やかな変化を確認するのに役立ちます。
Q. 再生記録の写真タイムラインとはどんな機能ですか？
脚・尾・鰓の一部を失ったとき、受傷日と原因を記録した「ケース」を作成し、回復の様子を写真として都度追加していきます。詳細画面ではDAY数付きのスライダーで、受傷直後の写真から最新（または完治後）の写真までを行き来しながら振り返れます。
Q. 保存したデータはどこに保管されますか？
すべてあなたのiPhone内（端末ローカル）に保存されます。クラウドや外部サーバーへのアップロードは行いません。
Q. Proはいつでも購入できますか？
はい。アプリ内の「設定→Pro」からいつでもご購入いただけます。買い切りのため、一度購入すれば追加費用なくご利用いただけます。
Q. 以前購入したProを復元するには？
「設定」画面内の「購入を復元」から復元できます。購入時と同じApple IDでサインインした状態でお試しください。
Q. データの書き出し・復元はできますか？
はい、Pro購入の有無に関わらず無料でご利用いただけます。「設定→データを書き出す（ZIP）」から、登録した個体・すべての記録・写真をZIP形式で書き出せます。別端末への移行は「設定→データを復元（ZIP）」をご利用ください。復元は既存データに追記する方式で、上書きはしません。無料版では個体登録2匹を超える分は取り込み時にスキップされます。
Q. 複数のiPhoneやiPadで同期できますか？
現在はローカル保存のみで、端末間の自動同期には対応していません。手動で移行する場合は、一方の端末でZIPを書き出し、もう一方で復元してください。
