About the App
FloraPress is an iOS app for pressed flower hobbyists — from casual collectors to crafters who sell on Etsy or Creema. Log each specimen with photos, press method, and drying days; track what’s currently pressing; turn ready flowers into artwork records with pricing; and browse your collection by season or on a map.
All data you save stays on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.
Features
- Specimen Collection — Name, scientific name, collection date, spot, press method (flat press / silica gel / book / other), press tool, drying days, photos, and notes. Status workflow: Drying → Ready → Used. Free up to 10 specimens.
- Pressing Tab — See all specimens currently drying with day-by-day progress and remaining days.
- Drying Alerts — Optional local notification when a specimen should be ready to check.
- Artworks — Record framed art, bookmarks, cards, resin pieces, journals, and more. Link specimens used, track material cost, labor hours, listing price, and sold price.
- Suggested Price Calculator — Base cost × markup + estimated platform fee (customizable labor rate, multiplier, and Etsy/Creema-style fee % in Settings).
- Press Tools & Supplies — Inventory for flower presses, books, silica gel, blotting paper, and other supplies.
- Wishlist — Save plants, tools, or supplies you want to acquire; mark as acquired and jump to the registration form.
- Collection Map — Plot collection spots on Apple Maps. Save current GPS location when registering a specimen.
- Season Calendar — Browse specimens by collection month to plan next season’s pressing.
- Share Cards — Generate shareable images for pressing progress, artworks, collection map, and collection milestones (watermarked on free; watermark-free on Pro).
- CSV Export — Export specimens, artworks, press tools, and supplies to CSV from Settings.
- ZIP Export with Photos — Export your full collection with photos as a ZIP.
- Data Import — Import a FloraPress ZIP or an older CSV to add records on your device. Import adds data; it does not replace what’s already there.
- English / Japanese — Follows your device language.

- FloraPress Pro (one-time purchase) — Unlimited specimens and watermark-free share cards.

FAQ
Q. What is the specimen status workflow?
Each specimen moves through three states: Drying (currently being pressed), Ready (done pressing, available to use), and Used (incorporated into an artwork or otherwise spent). The Pressing tab shows only Drying specimens.
Q. How does the suggested price work?
On artwork details, FloraPress calculates: material cost + (labor hours × hourly rate) = base cost, then applies your markup multiplier and estimated platform fee. Adjust defaults in Settings → Pricing. Labor rate uses $/hr in English and ¥/hr in Japanese.
Q. Can I link a specimen to multiple artworks?
Yes. Each artwork can link one or more specimens. A specimen used in artworks cannot be deleted until removed from those artworks.
Q. Where is my data stored?
Everything is saved locally on your iPhone in a SQLite database. No cloud sync, no account required.
Q. Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Export CSV or Export with Photos (ZIP). Both are free.
Q. Can I import data from a backup?
Yes. Go to Settings → Import Data and choose a FloraPress ZIP, or an older CSV (specimens only, no photos). Import adds records — importing the same file twice will create duplicates.
Q. Can I purchase Pro anytime?
Yes. Open Settings to upgrade at any time. It’s a one-time purchase — no subscription.
Q. How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?
Tap Restore Purchase in Settings. Use the same Apple ID you purchased with.
Q. Does the app use my location?
Only when you tap Use current location while editing a specimen, or when viewing the Collection Map. Location is saved locally with the specimen — never uploaded to our servers.
Q. Can I sync across multiple devices?
Not at this time. Data is stored locally on each device only.

FloraPress は、押し花趣味の方のための iOS アプリです。趣味の記録から minne・Creema・Etsy での販売まで、標本の写真・乾燥日数・押し方、作品への紐づけ、価格目安の計算、採集場所の地図表示までをひとつにまとめて管理できます。
保存したデータはすべてあなたのデバイス内に保管されます。外部サーバーへの送信は一切行いません。

Q. 標本のステータスとは？
プレス中（乾燥中）→ 完成（押し終わり、使用可能）→ 使用済み（作品に使った等）の3段階です。プレス中タブには「プレス中」の標本だけが表示されます。
Q. 推奨価格はどう計算されますか？
原価に、設定した倍率と販売手数料%を適用します。設定 → 価格計算 で変更できます。日本語表示時は時給が ¥/h になります。
Q. 1つの標本を複数の作品に使えますか？
はい。作品に紐づいている標本は、作品から外すまで削除できません。
Q. 保存したデータはどこに保管されますか？
すべて iPhone 内のローカル DB（SQLite）に保存されます。クラウド同期・アカウント登録は不要です。
Q. データのCSVエクスポートはできますか？
はい。設定 → CSVエクスポート、または写真込み書き出し（ZIP）から利用できます。無料版でも使えます。
Q. バックアップからデータをインポートできますか？
はい。設定 → データインポートから、FloraPressのZIP、または以前のCSV（標本のみ・写真なし）を選んで追記できます。同じファイルを2回取り込むと二重登録になります。
Q. Pro はいつでも購入できますか？
はい。設定 画面からいつでも購入できます。買い切りのため、サブスクリプションはありません。
Q. 以前購入した Pro を復元するには？
設定 → 購入を復元 から復元できます。購入時と同じ Apple ID でお試しください。
Q. 位置情報は使いますか？
標本編集で「現在地を使う」をタップしたとき、または採集マップ表示時のみ利用します。位置情報は標本とともに端末内に保存され、当社サーバーには送信されません。
Q. 複数の端末で同期できますか？
現在は端末ローカル保存のみで、端末間の同期には対応していません。
