TrapNote is an iOS app for carnivorous plant collectors — Nepenthes, Venus flytraps, Sarracenia, Drosera, Heliamphora and more. Log each plant with photos, feeding records, environment notes, and growth charts. All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.

Q. Which carnivorous plants does it support?
Genus, species, and clone name are free-text fields, so TrapNote works with any carnivorous plant — Nepenthes, Dionaea, Sarracenia, Drosera, Heliamphora, Cephalotus, Darlingtonia, Pinguicula, Utricularia, and more.
Q. What is the Feeding Log?
You can record prey type (fruit fly, mealworm, cricket, bloodworm, liquid fertilizer, other), size, trap used, whether the plant responded, response time in hours, and notes. It helps you track which plants are catching well and how often you’re feeding.
Q. What is the Share Card?
TrapNote automatically generates a card image from your plant’s photo, species name, clone name, pitcher size, growing status, and days tracked. You can share it directly to Reddit, Instagram, X, or anywhere via the system share sheet. Free users get a “Tracked with TrapNote” watermark; Pro removes it.
Q. Where is my data stored?
All data is saved locally on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to cloud services or external servers. No account required.
Q. Can I purchase Pro at any time?
Yes — go to Settings in the app and tap Unlock Pro. It’s a one-time purchase. Once purchased, all Pro features are yours with no additional cost.
Q. How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?
Go to Settings → Restore Purchase. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Q. Can I sync between multiple iPhones?
TrapNote stores data locally only — cross-device sync is not supported. This is intentional: your rare plant data stays on your device and doesn’t depend on any external service.

Q. 給餌ログとはどんな機能ですか？
餌の種類（キノコバエ・ミルワーム・コオロギ・冷凍赤虫・液体肥料・その他）・サイズ・使用したトラップ・反応の有無・反応時間・メモを記録できる機能です。どの株がよく捕食しているか、給餌頻度の把握に役立ちます。

Q. 保存したデータはどこに保管されますか？
すべてあなたのiPhone内（端末ローカル）に保存されます。クラウドや外部サーバーへのアップロードは行いません。
Q. Proはいつでも購入できますか？
はい。アプリ内の「設定」画面からいつでもご購入いただけます。買い切りのため、一度購入すれば追加費用なくずっとご利用いただけます。
Q. 以前購入したProを復元するには？
「設定」画面内の「購入を復元」から復元できます。同じApple IDでサインインした状態でお試しください。
Q. 複数のiPhoneで同期できますか？
現在はローカル保存のみで、端末間の同期には対応していません。「希少種のデータがクラウドに依存しない」を設計方針としています。
