About the App
SpawnLog is an iOS app for home mushroom growers. Track every batch from inoculation to final flush, log wet and dry harvest weights, auto-calculate BE% (biological efficiency), record contamination events, and generate shareable stats cards for Reddit and Discord. All data is stored locally on your device — no cloud, no account required.

- Batch Tracking — Log species, strain, substrate type, dry substrate weight, inoculation date, notes, and photos. Free up to 5 active batches.
- Flush Log & BE% — Record flush number, harvest date, wet weight, and dry weight per flush. BE% (biological efficiency = wet weight ÷ dry substrate weight × 100) is calculated automatically. Every record is editable and deletable.

FAQ
Q. What is BE% and how is it calculated?
BE% stands for Biological Efficiency — the standard metric serious mushroom growers use to evaluate a batch. It’s calculated as: wet harvest weight ÷ dry substrate weight × 100. For example, 500g wet from 500g dry substrate = 100% BE. SpawnLog calculates this automatically as long as you enter the batch’s dry substrate weight and each flush’s wet weight.
Q. How many batches can I have at once for free?
Free accounts can have up to 5 active batches at the same time. Archived batches (completed or discarded) don’t count toward this limit, and you can always view your full history. Upgrade to SpawnLog Pro for unlimited active batches.
Q. Can I edit or delete a flush log after saving?
Yes. Every flush log, contamination log, and batch record is fully editable and deletable at any time. There are no locked or immutable entries.
Q. How do I generate a share card?
Open a batch → Flushes tab → tap the share icon next to any flush. A preview of the stats card appears. You can add a harvest photo to the flush or batch beforehand and it will appear on the card. Tap Share to export the card as an image to Reddit, Discord, Instagram, or anywhere else.
Q. What contamination types can I log?
Green Mold (Trichoderma), Wet Rot, Bacterial Blotch, Cobweb Mold, and Other. You can also specify the stage at which contamination appeared: Grain or Bulk.
Q. What does the Substrate Calculator do?
Two calculators are included: (1) Water Calculator — enter dry substrate weight and target moisture %, and it tells you how much water to add. (2) Spawn Rate Calculator — enter dry substrate weight and spawn rate %, and it tells you how much spawn to use. Both are always free.
Q. Where is my data stored?
Everything is saved locally on your iPhone. No uploads to the cloud or external servers. No account is required.
Q. Can I purchase Pro anytime?
Yes. Open Settings in the app to purchase at any time. It’s a one-time purchase — no recurring fees.
Q. How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?
Tap Restore Purchases in Settings. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Q. Can I export my data?
With Pro, you can export all batch and flush data as a CSV file from Settings → Export Data.
Q. Can I sync across multiple iPhones?
Not at this time. Data is stored locally on each device only. Your data stays safely on the device you use.

Q. BE%（生物効率）とはなんですか？
BE%（生物効率）は、きのこ栽培者がバッチの成功度を評価するために使う標準指標です。計算式は湿重量 ÷ 乾燥基質重量 × 100。たとえば乾燥基質 500g から湿重量 500g 収穫できれば BE% = 100%です。SpawnLog はバッチに乾燥基質重量、フラッシュに湿重量を入力するだけで自動計算します。
Q. 無料版でいくつのバッチを管理できますか？
同時にアクティブなバッチを5件まで管理できます。アーカイブ済み（完了・廃棄）のバッチはこの上限にカウントされません。履歴はいつでも確認可能です。SpawnLog Pro にアップグレードするとアクティブバッチ数が無制限になります。
Q. フラッシュログは後から編集・削除できますか？
はい。フラッシュログ・コンタミ記録・バッチ情報はすべていつでも編集・削除できます。記録がロックされることはありません。
Q. シェアカードはどうやって生成しますか？
バッチ詳細 → フラッシュタブ → 各フラッシュ横のシェアアイコンをタップします。カードのプレビューが表示されます。事前にフラッシュまたはバッチに写真を追加しておくと、カードに写真が表示されます。「シェア」ボタンで画像を Reddit・Discord・Instagram 等に共有できます。
Q. どんなコンタミ種類を記録できますか？
青カビ（トリコデルマ）・湿腐病・細菌性腐敗・クモの巣カビ・その他の5種類です。発生ステージ（グレイン / バルク）も記録できます。
Q. 培地計算機は何を計算できますか？
2種類の計算機が内蔵されています。①水分量計算機：乾燥基質重量と目標水分率から加水量を計算。②接種率計算機：乾燥基質重量と接種率からスポーン使用量を計算。どちらも常に無料です。
Q. 保存したデータはどこに保管されますか？
すべてあなたの iPhone 内（端末ローカル）に保存されます。クラウドや外部サーバーへのアップロードは行いません。アカウント登録も不要です。
Q. Pro はいつでも購入できますか？
はい。アプリ内の「設定」画面からいつでもご購入いただけます。買い切りのため、一度購入すれば追加費用なくずっとご利用いただけます。
Q. 以前購入した Pro を復元するには？
「設定」画面内の「購入を復元」から復元できます。購入時と同じ Apple ID でサインインした状態でお試しください。
Q. データの CSV エクスポートはできますか？
Pro プランで、バッチ・フラッシュデータを CSV 形式でエクスポートできます。「設定」→「データをエクスポート」からご利用ください。
Q. 複数の iPhone で同期できますか？
現在はローカル保存のみで、端末間の同期には対応していません。データはすべてお使いの端末内に安全に保管されます。
